KANSAS CITY, MO. – JetHQ has added and promoted presidents to lead two newly created international divisions covering Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The aircraft transaction and brokerage company announces that it has brought in a seasoned sales professional to head up Asia, while elevating its own veteran aviation executive to oversee Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Rohit Kapur joins the company as President of JetHQ Asia after serving as Founding Partner at Arrow Aircraft. Rebecca Johnson, President of JetHQ EMEA, acted as JetHQ’s Vice President of Sales prior to her promotion.

“Rohit and Rebecca epitomize the high level of aviation experience our team possesses,” says JetHQ Founder and Managing Director Garett Jerde. “They have such great insights gained from hundreds of transactions and thousands of flight hours to identify and meet our customers’ needs. Their global knowledge and expertise made them the natural choices to lead these prominent sales divisions.”

After flying helicopters for almost 20 years in the Indian Army, Rohit Kapur began his civil aviation career in 2003. He has served in numerous leadership roles within business aviation, including as CEO for Indocopters Private Limited, supporting Airbus Helicopters sales; before founding Arrow Aircraft in 2010. He was responsible for that company’s vertical handling Gulfstream, HondaJet and Beechcraft sales. He’s an alumnus of the Harvard Business School and contributed to the founding of the Business Aircraft Operators Association (BAOA) in India. He will be based in India.

A graduate of San Jose State University, Rebecca Johnson has piloted since she was a teenager and has managed European aircraft transactions for the past 15 years. She served as Hawker Beechcraft pilot, demonstrating aircraft all over the world, before embarking as a corporate pilot who flew VIPs and business leaders to their global destinations. She led Gulfstream’s sales territory in southern Europe before joining JetHQ, operating out of Switzerland.

The position creations follow JetHQ’s recent team expansion and company repatriation to the United States. JetHQ also became a member of the elite International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) at the end of 2019.
